
Template:Firewall Settings Workstation
Modify Whonix User Firewall Settings.
Note: Initially, if you have not made any changes to Whonix Firewall Settings, then Whonix User Firewall Settings File /etc/whonix_firewall.d/50_user.conf appears empty, because it does not exist. This is expected.
If you are using Qubes-Whonix, complete the following steps: In Whonix-Workstation AppVM.

Open file /rw/config/whonix_firewall.d
in an editor with root rights.

Kicksecure for Qubes
NOTES:
- When using Kicksecure-Qubes, this needs to be done inside the Template.

- After applying this change, shutdown the Template.
- All App Qubes based on the Template need to be restarted if they were already running.
- This is a general procedure required for Qubes and unspecific to Kicksecure for Qubes.
